igus has introduced a new 3D printing service capable of producing rapid working prototypes in different engineering-grade polymers with exceptional strength and without the need for lubrication.

This enables designers and engineers to move quickly to test and proof of concept stages to final production.

It bridges the gap between traditional injection moulding and allows custom parts to be ready in days rather than weeks without compromising on durability or performance.

The service uses iglidur 150 and iglidur 190 materials that are the same engineered polymers used in igus’s injection-moulded parts.
