For decades, a nuclear facility relied on manual pressure regulators to control the flow of CO₂ used as a coolant in their reactor systems. Operators had to physically adjust the regulators without any digital feedback, making the process laborious.
Bronkhorst was able upgrade their system by supplying an EL-PRESS forward pressure controllers P-602CV integrated via our FLOWBUS digital network.
This upgrade replaced manual adjustments with precise, automated pressure control, enabling our customer to work more efficiently and fully understand their process.
The result:
- Full automation of the CO₂ delivery system
- Digital data logging for traceability and diagnostics
- Improved repeatability and accuracy
- Remote control with no need for human intervention
