In 2014, Instek Control launched the Level Transmitter Mining (LTM-2) level measurement probe as alternative to traditional measurement systems for difficult and sometimes seemingly impossible measuring environments.

LTM-2 probes are typically installed in flotation banks, tanks, individual flotation cells or in columns and sumps to provide consistent accurate pulp level measurement and control.

The LTM-2 pulp level monitoring probe technology dramatically reduces the complication of slurry level interface monitoring under a wide range of froth and flotation conditions.

Continuous Level Sensor

  • Continuous level measurement in vessels up to 3m in height.
  • Ideal for adhesive and pasty media.
  • Level measurement of foaming media.
  • Minimum product conductivity 50 µS/cm.
  • Substitute for float sensors.
  • Reliable interface measurement

Application Examples

  • Level measurements in first running vessels of dosing plants.
  • Flotation cell level measurement.
  • Sump level measurement.

The LTM-2 level probe has proven its reliability in various concentrator environments, being used in Column, Bank and Tank flotation cells. The probes have also been tested in various Sump environments.
